Next week our homeroom will begin going to Art for the 3rd nine weeks grading period. Mrs. McKee is the art teacher.
Math: We began chapter 12 on money today. I encourage all students to count different amounts of coins as practice whenever possible!
Reading: On Tuesday, January 17, our reading class will begin the selection, "Officer Buckle and Gloria". My reading students are bringing home their list of spelling, vocabulary, and high frequency words today. But just in case that paper doesn't make it quite home......here they are:
Spelling-car, smart, arm, park, yard, part, barn, hard, party, farm, are, warm, far, carpet, department
High frequency words-board, listen, told
Vocabulary-accident, attention, audience, commands, officer, safety
Also, if your child did not turn in their reading log today they can still turn it in on Tuesday-only.....!
