There will be no math homework tonight!!

Tomorrow the school will be having a 2 hour early release!!!  If your child is a pick-up please plan to be here at 1:00 p.m.

We have been reading 2 Thanksgiving plays in the classroom!!!  The kids are really enjoying it.  It is so good to break routine and do something different.

We started 2 different class plays today in honor of Thanksgiving.  Ask your child what part they have!

Remember, on Wednesday the students will be released at 1:04.

Our second graders will be taking the Iowa Test of Basic Skills in math tomorrow.

The Adena Athletic Boosters have sent home a flyer about their Fall Spiritwear.  Your child is bringing this home.  Enjoy looking at it.  If you want to order anything please send in payment in an envelope with the marked order by December 1.  Delivery will be in before Christmas.

I hope everyone having Veterans Day off!  I had the kids write about what they did yesterday.  

You will be getting your child's progress report on Friday.  Remember, the grades reflected on the progress report will be what their average was today at about 10:30 a.m.

The class will be having a math test tomorrow over the addition of 2-digit numbers.  I am sending home a study guide to review with your child.  We went over this chapter today in class.

State Bound!

We are proud of our Adena Warriors Volleyball team!!  They are playing in the state semi-finals today at 6:00.  No homework tonight!!!!!!

Wear red, white, and blue tomorrow for the Veteran's assembly at 9:00 A.M.

Happy "hump" Day!
