Wednesday

Mr. Snyder informed us this morning that parent-teacher conference request slips have been mailed home.  When you get the information please let me know if you will be able to attend!

Your child is bringing home a paper reminding you about the Halloween party and hallway parade.  Please do not let your child wear their costume to school tomorrow.  The students should bring their costumes in their book bags.

The kids are excited for the party and trick-or-treat....be patient!  

Tuesday

In honor of Red Ribbon week the students can donate$.50 to Pennies for Patients and wear a hat to school tomorrow!!!

Please have your child practice out of their reading book, "A Trip to the Firehouse."

Our hallway parade and Halloween party will be on Thursday at 2:00.

It's Friday =)

We have had a  very pleasant Friday!  As I conducted running records with the students they worked on making bus driver appreciation cards, a spider, and a cat head!

Book Fair is next week from M-Th. Our class will be going to the Book Fair on Monday from 12:30-1:00.

Thursday

The students enjoyed the red ribbon assembly today.  Due to not having but 15 minutes of our special I was not able to organize our math homework tonight.  Therefore, there is no math homework tonight!  Enjoy the night off.

Spelling test tomorrow!

Wear Red!

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, begins our Red Ribbon Week when we discuss ways to stay drug-free in our lives.  We are asking all our Elementary students to wear red tomorrow!!!!

End of the work week!

Everyone enjoy COTA day off!!!  Enjoy a much needed extra-day for the weekend!

Wednesday

There will be a math test tomorrow in our class.  The students are bringing home a study guide tonight to review.

Spelling test tomorrow!

We are out of school on Friday so tomorrow is our last day of the school week.  Reading logs are due tomorrow.

Columbus Day

For those of you who had the day off for Columbus Day I hope you enjoyed it!!

We have a shortened school week, as we are off on Friday!!

Tomorrow is school picture day.  Your child is bringing home a reminder about school pictures and options for payment if you wish to purchase the pictures.

There is a PTO meeting at 6:00 in the staff dining room.

Tuesday

The students have math homework on adding 3 numbers.

Please have your child study over their spelling words and read aloud for 10-15 minutes.  Don't forget to write it down on the reading log!!

Fire Prevention Week

This week is Fire Prevention Week.

Our spelling words have double consonants.

Please have your child read the story, "Around the Pond:  Whose Been Here?"  

Your child is bringing home a little slip to remind everyone that the cookie dough fundraiser form is due tomorrow.

Thursday

Our field trip yesterday was so nice!  We made thank-you cards for the local business that paid for the trip!

There will be no test over the story, "Exploring Parks with Ranger Dockett."  

There will be another spelling test tomorrow.
