Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!  Enjoy every second of your break....I hope you all get some time off.

We will come back in January with a renewed energy to press on to our hard work in second grade!!

Tuesday

It's hard to believe there are only 8 days left until Christmas!!!
The students will be taking the test over, "Jamaica Louise James", tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18.  Those who need to retake the spelling test from today will be able to do tomorrow, as well.

I am sending home a paper with reminders about the rest of this week.

No homework the rest of this week, other than reviewing for the reading and spelling test tomorrow.

Thursday

Tomorrow is our movie day!!!  The kids are beyond excited to see "Frozen".

Our spelling test will be on Monday and Tuesday over the words for the story, "Jamaica Louise James".  

The reading test over this story will be either Wednesday or Thursday.

We continue to work really hard on subtraction with and without regrouping.  Please review this at home with your child.

We send well wishes to our friend in our class who is out for a few days.....you are missed!

Monday

Two-hour delays are fun but, they take away two of our hours!

Please work on subtraction with and without regrouping with your child.

We have one story left in our anthology, "Jamaica Louise James."  The spelling words this week go with that story.

The two spelling tests this week will be on Wednesday and Thursday.  On Friday we will be going to the movies.

Please sign and return the permission slip your child is bringing home today.
