Wednesday

It is hard to believe today is the last day of October!

We will be having a spelling test tomorrow.

Picture re-take day will be rescheduled.

I am sure all of you have heard that Chillicothe has rescheduled their Trick or Treat night for this Friday!!

Our playground can be quite cold and windy during recess.  Please make sure your child has a toboggan or earmuffs or better yet, a coat with a hood!  Gloves are a plus, too!!

Our Halloween party was a lot of fun!!!  Thank you to all the parents who got to come and help!!!!!!

Trick or Treat is tonight from 6-7 in Clarksburg and Frankfort.

Reading logs are due tomorrow.

Tomorrow is jean day and wear school colors!!!

Wednesday

Tomorrow is wear red day!!!!

The students are allowed to bring a costume for the Halloween party on Friday.  We ask that if a costume has a weapon with it that those items are left at home.

School pictures are in!  I am sending home a picture packet for those who paid for individual school pictures.

Our class went to the Book Fair today, as well.  The PTO gave each student a gift certificate to purchase a book or books.  Thank you PTO!!!!

Tuesday

Tomorrow the students can wear their pajamas to school!!!!!!  

Our class will also go to the Book Fair tomorrow.

The Halloween parade in Frankfort will be tomorrow evening at 7:30
Trick-or-Treat in Frankfort and Clarksburg will be Thursday evening from 6-7.

Our class Halloween party and parade in the hallway is Friday at 2:00.  All are invited!!

Monday

This week is full, fun, and crazy!!!!!  We not only have red ribbon week and all the extra activities that come with that, but we also have Book Fair and Halloween week!!!!!

Today the students received a red wrist band that promotes a drug-free life.

Our class will go to the Book Fair on Wednesday.

Tuesday the students are asked to wear red, white, and blue!!!!

No spelling this week!  We have started the story, "Around the Pond:  Who's Been Here?".  We will not be taking a reading test over this story until next Tuesday.  

Tonight is the Clarksburg Halloween Carnival at our school.

October 1st....already!

It is hard to believe that October has arrived!  We practiced a yellow lockdown drill today.  And, we had an extended fire drill today.  Please provide information to your child as you wish.  I simply told them we had a fire drill and the firefighters checked out our building.
