The Last Day of School!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 30, is our last day of school. Our second graders are to pack a lunch tomorrow and if it is nice we will enjoy eating our lunch outside. If the weather doesn't permit us to enjoy the outdoors then we will picnic indoors!

School is dismissed at 1:00 tomorrow.

If you want to send in a self-addressed stamped envelope for your child's grade card to be mailed, please send it in by tomorrow. Mr. Snyder announced that if you wish to pick up your child's grade card you may do so on or after June 8.

Field Day Was A Blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our field day with third grade was an absolute blast!!!!!!!!!! The weather was perfect.....not hot and not cold! The kids had great behavior and enjoyed the events and the fun-flatables!!! They are pretty tired!

Mr. Cox will be awarding 1st-5th place for the events that were held today.

Tomorrow is Field Day!!

Our field day events will be tomorrow down at the track/football field. If any parent or grandparent can help please report to the field by 8:30-8:45. Mr. Cox can use and appreciate your help!

The students should bring a water bottle, along with a packed lunch with a drink. I have recommended sunscreen, a towel to sit on, sunglasses, and even a hat. We will be outside all day.

TENNIS SHOES AND SOCKS ARE A MUST!!! PLEASE NO SANDALS!!!!!!!!!!

Friday

Next Tuesday will be grade 2-3 Field Day at the high school track. If you can come and assist Mr. Cox will the activities please arrive at the track by 8:45 a.m.

Don't forget to send in $2.00 for the class pizza party on Friday.

Tuesday

Reading: There are no spelling words for our class!!!! This is the last week for Reading Logs for our reading class. They are due on Friday.

Pizza Party! The second grade classes are having a pizza party on Friday, May 25. Each student needs to bring in $2.00 to help for the pizza. If you would prefer your child to not eat pizza they are welcome to eat in the cafeteria that day.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and grandmothers out there!

Next week my reading class will not be having a spelling list....we are finished!!!!! But, we will continue to do reading logs for one more week!!!

Thursday

Our guest illustrator will be visiting our school tomorrow. Our grade will enjoy the visit from 9:00-9:45.

We will take our last spelling test of the year, in my reading class, tomorrow.

Reading logs are due tomorrow for everyone is second grade.

Wednesday
