We are very busy at school this week with our work PLUS Red Ribbon Week activities, Halloween fun, and Book Fair Week!

Friday: Spritit Day!!! Wear Adena colors! Our football team is going for the gold football Friday night!

Wear Pink Friday!!
The students can bring a hat tomorrow and donate fifty cents for cancer research. If your child has a pink shirt they would like to wear they are more than welcome to!!
The staff can wear jeans tomorrow for a donation of $5.00 to cancer research. We will also be wearing pink!!

Testing today and Thursday
Our nine weeks assessment test in reading was given today. Some students will finish up their reading test tomorrow in reading class.
On Thursday the students will take the math nine weeks assessment test.
October is flying by!! No spelling this week.

Picture Day tomorrow!
Our school picture day (K-5) will be tomorrow, Wednesday, October 13. The photographer has requested that we do not wear green. If you want to purchase the pictures please fill out the envelope that was sent home last week and return it with money tomorrow.

Columbus Day!
Happy Christopher Columbus Day!
We want to send out a big thank you to two of our classroom grandma's who came in on Friday and brought 2 fall crafts and a snack to the students in our homeroom. The time spent crafting and eating was a good time had by all!!!

Reading Test Friday
My reading class will be taking their reading test over the selection, "Henry and Mudge" on Friday, October 8. I will send home a study guide tonight.
